Or Not is a short film, shot on 16 mm black and white reversal film using the Bolex camera. It offers a meditation on such issues as authority over text, traditional narratives, and the constant re-appropriation of the role of women by those other than women themselves. The dialogue is a fragmented adaptation of an essay about female authorship, written by Judith Mayne.
