This conversation started at Berlinale in February 2018 and continued in May 2018 in Toronto, where Hagen showed her film At Second Glance/Auf den Zweiten Blick (2012).
Sheri Hagen
Sheri Hagen is an actor and film director. She was born in Lagos/Nigeria but grew up in Hamburg where she completed her training at the Stage School of Dance and Drama. She also trained in Austria. Sheri played numerous roles in film, TV and theatre productions. A short titled Stella and the Storks (2007) was her debut as a writer-director. It was followed by a feature, At Second Glance/Auf Zwieten Blick (2012). In 2015, Sheri founded her production company Equality Film GmbH in Berlin, where she shot Blue Window/Fenster Blau (2016).
