Missy F. Hannah
Missy F. Hannah is a Ph.D. Student in the Communication, Rhetoric & Digital Media program at North Carolina State University. Missy’s research interests include queer & feminist activism, ethics in technical professional communication (TPC), game studies, and TPC pedagogy. She is interested in how organisations co-opt the rhetoric of social justice movements for popular marketing campaigns and the effects this co-option has on these often grassroots social movements. Previously, she received her B.A in English Language and Literature from the University of Central Florida and her M.A. in English Composition and Rhetoric, where she specialised in social justice rhetoric in the first-year writing classroom.
