Craig-era Bond eschews much of what typified the ‘old’ 007s. While embracing some of the attributes of his predecessors, Craig’s incarnation is defined by a liminality that challenges conventional binaries.
Karen Brooks
Karen Brooks is the author of twelve books (fiction and non-fiction), a weekly columnist in a major Australian newspaper and has been published in a range of academic books and journals internationally on topics such as popular culture, literature, education and youth. She’s an Honorary Senior Research Fellow at the University of Queensland and an Honorary Senior Fellow at the University of the Sunshine Coast. She’s currently working on her thirteenth book, an historical fiction set in Scotland and is an unashamed Bond, Star Trek and Dr Who tragic.
