Coleman, Page & Palmer brought together feminist academics and artists to examine the relevance and productiveness of the new materialist methods in doing and/or making research. Here, they reflect on the contents of this Focus Issue of MAI.
Helen Palmer
Helen Palmer is a Senior Lecturer in English Literature and Creative Writing at Kingston University London. She is the author of Deleuze and Futurism: A Manifesto for Nonsense (Bloomsbury, 2014) and Queer Defamiliarisation: Writing, Mattering, Making Strange (forthcoming 2019, Edinburgh University Press). She has some new materialist poetry published in The Minnesota Review and is currently writing a feminist version of Ulysses set in Blackpool called Pleasure Beach. She is part of the queer clowning duo Le Tomatique with Vikki Chalklin (Goldsmiths).
