The Gender & Performance Studies Group (GECE) from the University of Aveiro is coordinated by Professor Maria Manuel Baptista. It aims to discuss and reflect on issues related to gender identities, performances, practices and discourses. The Gender and Performance Group integrates university professors from Portugal and Brazil, as well as doctoral students of different nationalities who major in Cultural Studies.
